(1) Why are the UHF transmitters more expensive than the air band equipment?
Answer: UHF equipment contains crystals on set frequencies. These are expensive but ensure that the frequencies are set, to avoid drifting, and they give you crystal clear pick-up.
(2) What do I do if I want to record what the receiver picks up?
Answer: You can connect a recorder to any of our receivers using a recording lead. You can use any recorder with a mic socket though it is better to use a voice-activated recorder. You can get a recording lead from us.
(3) If I am still not sure whether to buy UHF or air band equipment what do I do?
Answer: UHF equipment is used by professionals and should be used if you need to get results on your first attempt. If however you have several opportunities to try the equipment, then you could try the air band equipment first. If it doesn’t give you the results you need then you can exchange it for the UHF equipment. You will get full credit against the returned equipment and you will only need to pay the difference in price.
(4) Is the equipment easy to use or install?
Answer: Yes, all the equipment is very simple to operate. With most items you only need to install batteries and switch on. Also all equipment comes with full instructions and you can also email or phone us for extra assistance, if needed.
(5) What happens if my equipment is faulty or I cant get it to work?
Answer: Our equipment is fully guaranteed and we will happily exchange or repair any equipment, which is faulty. We will also exchange goods, which are not faulty for other equipment. (You should however keep all packaging and goods must not be marked)
(6) What do I do if I am still not sure which equipment I need or want more info?
Answer: You can email, fax or phone us at any time and we will answer all your questions.
